I Wear a Mask-Poet Tree
64"I Wear a Mask"
I wear a mask everyday,
I wear a mask to keep others at bay,
Not knowing what really hides beneath,
A being with no soul, no care, and no peace,
Some wear masks to make others afraid,
Some wear masks to make money, get laid,
Some wear masks to hide what they feel,
I wear a mask to remain seemingly real,
Not one has seen the creature it hides, not,
A man, nor beast, but a being of lies,
A black hole, the fabric of space left to peel,
Don't worry though, I can still feel,
but only one feeling, one feeling is real,
I can still fear, I do still fear,
The man beneath the mask,
I see in the mirror.
You thought it was done?
Nothing is over!
It was a good run,
But now it is over,
The time has come for this mask to disappear,
For ever, for good, for everything real,
I'm tired of living with nothing to feel,
Nothing to feel, nothing to feel,
Nothing to feel, nothing to...
Feel.

When you write a novel in nanowrimo you don't have to finish it. You have thirty days so if you write like 3-5 pages a day you will reach your goal. I have yet to actually complete a full novel. It's just something fun.
good stuff
It was a wonderful poem. One of the best I've seen about masks so far. Great Job!
